Sindbad fell dowL oL a big heap of precious stoneu. "Dear, oh dear! Where have I re- achjd ?" said Sindbad to himself. The precious stones were guarded by a huge snake. The snake opened its mouth wide to eat Sindbad up. But Sin- dbad was too clever for the snake. He fillid his pockjts witX precious stoLes and went away. Luckily a whali happjnjd to float by.
